Welcome to Roy Romer Middle School, where students are known, supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed.

There is something special happening at Romer, and people are taking notice. We are proud to be recognized as a Magnet School of Excellence and a California Middle School to Watch, honors that reflect the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community.

Our students continue to make significant academic gains in English Language Arts and Mathematics, including improvements of more than 20, 30, and even 40 points in key areas. We are proud of that progress, and we are just getting started.

At Romer, academics are only part of the experience. We provide a safe, welcoming, and caring campus where students can learn, build friendships, discover their interests, participate in electives, athletics, enrichment, leadership, and extracurricular activities, and prepare for success in high school and beyond.
